Yes… CBD helped me lower my blood pressure, but not in the way you would think. There was a study that demonstrates how CBD can lower blood pressure at a higher dosage. So, unless you have a lot of money to spend, using 600 mg of CBD every day will be a challenge.

Changes Don’t Come Easy!

For a long time, I’ve been wanting to lose weight. I tried out different types of exercises, but nothing really worked. My anxiety and depression were always high as well, making it even more challenging. I was not really motivated and I got caught up in life.

I’ve learned, however, this is not a bad thing. Looking back into my past, I notice that I’ve helped so many people. It came naturally to want to educate and help other people when I felt and saw what CBD could do for my pain and quality of life.

Getting in Control of My Blood Pressure

For years, my body was telling me that my diet was bad. Even my doctor was pushing me. I started to see a nutritionist and I slowly started incorporating more healthy vegetables.

It didn’t hit me until I was in New York visiting my best friend Kaleena on Labor Day last year. We were outside having a conversation in a park on the waterfront and it hit me.

For the first time, I felt alive. I just laid back and felt the sun on my skin. I could feel the fresh air hitting my lungs when I inhaled. All this happened while eating pesto that we bought in a market across the street from the World Trade Center.

I knew then that I would have to start making sacrifices. I wanted a change in my life. I wanted to travel more, enjoy outdoors and do the things that I’ve always wanted to do. But I knew it would take some effort. So, I started by changing my diet to help heal my body from things that were holding me back from my true potential. One example would be getting in control of my high blood pressure.

Changing my Lifestyle Lowered my Blood Pressure

I started making smoothies each morning. Some days I added CBD to the mixtures and others I took it under my tongue. I then started preplanning my meals.

Slowly, I started losing weight. I wasn’t doing any exercises. I only changed my diet.

As the months went on, I stayed motivated and kept up my good habits. During my doctor visit in March, my doctor told me to start recording my blood pressure as often as possible at home.

Around this time, I also started to practice Yoga. I follow Yoga with Adrienne on Youtube. Thanks to Melissa, I got pretty motivated to practice every day.

That’s when the weight really starting coming off. My jeans were getting loose. My shirts started feeling baggy.

I started to lower my blood pressure to normal levels.

Today my blood pressure levels are normal. The last 3 visits to the VA hospital, including 2 ER visits, my pressure was around 117/80 average. This is much lower than my previous 130+90+.

So now you may be asking, how did CBD play a part in this? Well, with my anxiety and depression on the low, I am able to do the things that I want to do. I am no longer feeling trapped. Having the freedom to go after my dreams has been the best.

CBD has helped me do that. What would you do if you could get a few hours every day with minimal pain or distractions? Imagine the things that you could get done.

With the recent news that the FDA started recalling blood pressure meds, this is the perfect time to consider CBD as an option to change your lifestyle!
