Bluebird Botanicals extra-strength Hemp Sport is a warming cream for topical use made with hemp extract, essential oils, jojoba, and coconut oil.
It lists its ingredients as jojoba and coconut oil organic cream base, hemp extract (200+ mg Cannabinoids), essentials pile of helichrysum, wild -crafted plain, German chamomile, arnica and ginger.
With such natural ingredients, I wanted to see if this cream is as awesome as it sounds. I initially wanted to test it out on my wrist with osteoarthritis, but decided to change it when my son’s eczema flared up.
His eczema is bad. Black spots all over his legs and the constant itching can drive any parent to want to find a proper treatment. As someone who suffers from it have tried a lot of things for it and today continues to battle this condition.
Every day I rub the cream once in the morning and once in the evening after his bath. I rub the Hemp Sport cream and then I apply Natural Shea butter. I have been using the Natural Shea butter for over a year to his skins. It helps someone like me with mild eczema, but like my son who has severe eczema it does not do enough.
About 2 days later I notice that my son has not been scratching his legs as much as he used to. That was my lightbulb moment where I realize that the CBD is working. I teared up because I can see how my son is no longer feeling any pains from his inflamed or irritated skin.
It has been 3 weeks now and I can tell a big difference than before. The large red spots are no longer red. His darken spots are no longer as dark. It gives me hope that hopefully his skin will get to the point where it’s no longer darken and inflamed.
The smell of the Bluebird Botanicals extra-strength Hemp Sport is on the nutty side. It reminds me of the scent of a nutmeg from my country of birth Grenada. It has a greenish color which looks ever so natural.
