Summertime is approaching and that means vacation time is on the horizon! So while you’re planning where you want to go, who you want to go with (or who you have to take with you), don’t overlook how you are going to transport your valuable CBD goods. This is our 2019 Summer CBD travel blog.
Not all states/countries are cannabis/CBD friendly! Are you taking a road trip, flight, cruise or combination of the above? How do you pack those essentials needed in your day to day in your suitcase that may be scanned, sniffed, and tossed around?

Simple! It is as easy as asking these questions:
- Where are you going?
- For how long?
- By what means of transportation?
- What are your main needs?
If you’re not sure of which state is cannabis friendly, there are some resources that give you a quick and easy description. Traveling to a state that is not pro-cannabis, don’t fret, you’re still going on your vacation!
Is this a quick getaway or a week-long adventure? What kind of activities will either require more or less CBD consumption? If you’re on a bus, flight or train, packing is crucial! Some products are more delicate than the others and thus require more caution.
Packing for a trip means either packing for everything (in a checked suitcase) or economizing (in a carry-on). Don’t forget that flights have 3.4 ounces of liquid that is permissible on a carry-on. Rethink or repackage those oils and tinctures if necessary!
If you consume multiple cannabis/CBD products, I recommend reviewing all of your products and see which one serves multiple purposes.
Suffering from pain? Do you need both a tincture and balm? Which gives you the most CBD in one dose to last 4-6 hours?
Suffering from anxiety? Do you need the vape pen and cartridge and accessories? Which fits easily in your personal items without causing chaos in your backpack or purse?
On a diet that infuses CBD? Do you need that specific edible?
These may seem to be hard choices in the beginning but it’s worthwhile in the long run. Enjoy your vacation knowing that you planned how to take care of yourself while your vacation takes care of you.
